No. You sign in directly on HMRC’s website and authorise TaxQuay using OAuth 2.0. TaxQuay receives an access token, which is encrypted and stored server-side.
Yes. The application supports agent connections, organisation workspaces and different roles for owners, accountants, staff and clients.
A submitted VAT return is not simply overwritten. TaxQuay helps record the error and determine whether it should be adjusted on a later return or disclosed separately to HMRC under the current correction process.
